Petflow Privacy Policy

Overview

Petflow is a pet care companion app that helps users manage pet profiles, health records, reminders, medications, activities, and related pet information. The app can be used in guest mode on-device, and users may optionally create an account to back up and sync data through Firebase services.

Information you provide

Petflow stores the information you choose to enter, which may include pet names, species, breeds, birthdates, weights, allergies, microchip IDs, photos, health records, vaccination details, medication schedules, activity logs, journal entries, and app settings.

How data is stored

In guest mode, Petflow stores data on your device. If you sign in, Petflow may store and synchronize your account data using Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage under the project operated by the developer.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Petflow may use local notifications and Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver reminder-related notifications. Notification permissions are optional and can be disabled in your device settings.

Analytics and diagnostics

Production builds of Petflow may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage, app stability, and performance. These services may process device and usage metadata in accordance with Google's Firebase terms and policies.

Account information

If you create an account, Petflow may store identifiers such as your Firebase user ID, email address, account creation timestamp, notification preference, and subscription status. Sign-in methods may include email/password and supported identity providers such as Google or Apple where enabled.

Subscriptions and billing

Premium subscriptions and purchase restoration are handled by the App Store or Play Store attached to your device account. Petflow does not directly process payment card numbers.

Data sharing

Petflow does not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by service providers that support app functionality, including Firebase, Apple, and Google, only as needed to operate, secure, or distribute the app.

Data retention and deletion

Guest-mode data remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app, subject to any device backups you have enabled. Signed-in users can delete their account from within the app. The current in-app flow deletes the cloud user profile, related pet records, and associated storage files controlled by the app.

Children's privacy

Petflow is not intended for children under 13. If you believe personal information from a child has been submitted in a way that requires action, contact the developer using the support details on this site.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Petflow adds or changes data practices, integrations, or features. Material updates should be reflected on this page before those changes are released broadly.
